THT Assembly
We provide professional THT assembly services with leaded and lead-free soldering options
Through-hole assembly is commonly used in applications where longevity, dependability, and long-term operation are necessary, which ensure a stronger mechanical connection. This process is especially well-suited for heavy components, high-power equipment, and applications in which mechanical stress or harsh conditions are at issue. We assemble a wide range of THT components, including connectors (USB, terminal blocks, headers), large capacitors, inductors, relays, transformers, switches, and many electromechanical parts.
• Single-sided Through-Hole PCB Assembly
• Double-sided Through-Hole PCB Assembly
• PTH & SMT Mixed PCB Assembly
• Low to high volume THT assembly
• Full-automatic PCBA Cleaning Process
• Conformal Coating & Potting Service
Through-hole assembly remains the preferred solution for durable and high-power electronic products. Our services are used in many industries including power supplies, computer motherboards, security systems, industrial cleaning equipment, medical devices and LED lighting, among others. At STHL, our skilled technicians deliver fast, precise, and reliable THT assembly services tailored to customer needs.
Our lead-free wave soldering process fully complies with RoHS standards, ensuring environmental safety and long-term performance. With two dedicated THT assembly lines and two post-soldering lines, STHL efficiently handles both prototypes and high-volume manufacturing or quick turn runs, maintaining exceptional consistency and quality across every project.

We assemble a wide range of THT components, including connectors (USB, terminal blocks, headers), large capacitors and resistors, inductors, relays, transformers, switch buttons, and many electromechanical parts. All components are inserted through PCB holes according to design requirements.
Absolutely. We specialize in mixed-technology assembly. After SMT components are placed and reflowed, THT insertion and soldering (wave soldering or manual soldering) are completed in-house, ensuring seamless integration and stable quality for complex hybrid PCBs.
There is no MOQ limitation. We support customers from single-piece prototypes to high-volume production runs.
Yes. We support Customer-Provided Parts (CPP) as well as full turnkey service. We handle component inspection, kitting, and traceability to ensure assembly quality.
Yes. We assemble PCBs of various sizes and shapes using dedicated THT fixtures or panelization with tooling edges.
Yes, we can add kinds of glue to your PCB boards as per requirements for mechanical stability, thermal management, protection from vibration and electrical insulation requirements.
Quality is ensured through wave soldering fixtures, skilled manual soldering, post-soldering inspection, 3D microscope inspection, and IPC-A-610 compliance.
We use automatic cleaning machines to remove flux residues, ensuring clean and reliable PCBA assemblies.
Depaneling is performed using full-automatic or semi-automatic depanel machines to ensure board integrity and smooth PCB edges.
Cost factors include component quantity, design complexity, material types, and any required custom fixtures or tooling.
We require Gerber files, BOM (with MPNs, quantities, and reference designators), and CPL / Pick & Place files. Additional assembly drawings are welcome.
